Third Years visit OPEN studio

As part of our trip into to London for the launch of the Final Major Project, we visited OPEN Studios in Dalston to find out about how they go about making self-directed work. As well as talking and showing their own work, studio members and Bucks graduates Adam Hayes, Melvin Galapon and colleagues set us a small task. We had to bring in an object we actively disliked. Inevitably, hilarity ensued, as we brought ketchup (thanks Marssaie), Care Bears DVDs,  and a letter fromWycombe landlord

‘Mr. Dad’ who quickly assumed legendary status (thanks Dan, thanks Joe).

Watch this space for the next stage of this project and what the folk at OPEN did with our objects..

See more about the visit on OPEN’s blog.
